It has been a minute since you heard from me in this space, and I want to start by saying thank you for still being here.
I have not been quiet. I have been building.
If you have followed me for any length of time, you know that I wear a few hats. Certified Family Life Educator. Life Coach. Self-published author. Family advocate. And if I am honest, I have spent a lot of time in the work — heads down, creating, developing, and putting things together that I did not always stop to bring you along with me.
That changes today.
This newsletter is my official relaunch and more than that, it is my invitation to you to step into everything that has been created with you in mind. So let me take you behind the scenes.
Who I Am — In Case We're Just Meeting
I am Misses McGhee, founder of Areatae Consulting Group. I am a Certified Family Life Educator, Life Coach, and self-published author with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals, families, and educators around child development, family connection, life skills, and personal growth.
My work is rooted in one belief: that every family deserves access to real, practical education not watered down, not buried behind a paywall, not written for someone with a degree to understand it. Just honest, warm, research-grounded support for the everyday moments that shape children and families for life.
Everything I have built flows from that belief. Let me show you what that looks like.
The Free Family Education Classroom — Areatae Consulting Group on Skool
One of the things I am most proud of right now is our growing free classroom inside the Areatae Consulting Group Skool community.
This is a space built specifically for parents, caregivers, grandparents, foster families, and educators; anyone who is showing up for children every day. Inside you will find lessons on child development, attachment, brain development, emotional modeling, everyday learning, and so much more.
We already have four modules live. And this classroom is still growing with more stages, more lessons, and more resources are being added regularly.
